Learning Outcomes

  1. Access, and edit HTML files stored locally and on a Web server
  2. Create basic HTML documents and read more complex ones
  3. Download html documents, images, and sounds from a Web site.
  4. Understand the client/server model
  5. Understand the general structure of HTML documents and the concept of mark-up languages
  6. Understand the meaning of an URL in particular with relation to directory structure
  7. Understand the possible architectures of Web sites.
  8. Upload/Download files to/from a Web server.
  9. Use a text editor to create an HTML file
  10. Write the HTML and CSS necessary to display Text in various fonts, colour and sizes, ETC…
